MODEL OFFICE

The interior architecture project aimed to translate the values upheld by the company: innovation, technology, and well-being, inspired by the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification criteria.

The construction of an ESG (Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance) office was one of ECCON’s largest projects and involved hiring architect Karyna Kyriazi, creating a Reform Committee, a contracting company, and auditing dozens of suppliers.

In every decision made, we strive to meet at least one of the ESG criteria: environmental, social, and governance.”

Innovation, Technology, and Well-being

The office construction was quite precise and unconventional compared to the corporate world: a modern, technological, and welcoming environment at the same time.

It also aimed to integrate the office with the city’s external landscape. An open and integrated slab was chosen on the third floor, exactly at the height of the treetops on the sidewalk.

The main premise was to ensure usability, comfort, and well-being for employees, suppliers, and clients visiting the space. suppliers, and clients visiting the space. The defined layout prioritized the design of a modern and dynamic space, accessible and within ergonomic standards. The environments are integrated, while also providing transparency and privacy to users through large, acoustically isolated clear glass partitions.

Efficiency

For energy efficiency, the abundant natural light incident on the windows of the building’s four faces was utilized. No room was positioned near the facade, thus preserving the brightness of the environment.

Acoustics

For noise reduction and the creation of a modern landscape, acoustic panels were installed on the ceiling in the form of a cloud mosaic, made of PET wool, a recycled and recyclable material.

Local and family labor

To amplify the positive impact of the office construction, local and family labor was sought in the Municipality of São Paulo. In this regard, most of the carpentry was carried out by a family business that uses controlled and certified wood, as well as reusing materials leftover from projects.

Floor Coverings

For the floor covering, carbon-neutral carpets made of recycled materials (carpet tile, LVT, and rubber) were acquired.

Art

For visual comfort and inspiration, art was added to the office.

Rooms

Floodplain (“Várzea”)

While a floodplain area temporarily floods, the Common Area is temporarily used by the team during breakfast, lunch, or events. The environment has tables, sofas, chairs, kitchen utensils, as well as appliances such as microwaves and a mini-fridge, which can be freely used.

Mangrove

The Management and Administrative Area “Mangrove” is located in a strategic region of the office, on the left and right sides of the executive office and facing the technical team, allowing managers and the administrative team a broad view and easy access to the office and the technical team as a whole. The environment allows managers to interact with the team in a simple and dynamic way, facilitating dialogue and the progress of activities.

pampa

The “Pampa” Team Area is the place designated for the on-site work of employees. In this environment, there are workstations equipped with monitors, mice, keyboards, headphones, and other necessary equipment for the team’s setup and accommodation while they are physically present in the office.

Atlantic Forest

The office entrance directly accesses the ECCON Lab Atlantic Forest, a space created for project discussions and innovation. The space is named in honor of the largest biome in the State of São Paulo (ECCON’s headquarters location), the Atlantic Forest.

Araucaria

The Araucaria Room was built for the use of ECCON’s CEO. It has soundproofing for better comfort, transparent glass as a sign of good governance and management transparency. It is located in a strategic area, allowing a broad view of the office and the team as a whole.

cerrado
