They are fundamental instruments for carrying out our services and for the ethical and legal performance of the entire company.
ECCON’S INITIATIVES
ECCON invests in innovation and environmental conservation, using fees sustainably.
Every month, we send letters to more than 10,000 readers, and there are already more than 100 editions, contributing with discussions, proposals and business opportunities in the environmental area.
Since 2015, we have been compiling data to create the first ebook on environmental business in Brazil, now in its second edition.
We created ECCON Data, a database on forests, forest carbon and environmental services with more than 200 registered properties, totaling more than 1 million hectares across Brazil.
In 2024, we were recognized by the UN, in the context of World Environment Day, for our impact initiatives focused on restoration, combating desertification and resilience to droughts. We use drones with advanced sensors (RGB, multispectral and Lidar) to monitor areas under restoration.
In 2023, our sustainable office was also recognized by the UN as an exemplary global initiative in reducing waste on the planet.
Preservadores no Brasil is a project created by ECCON that supports private forest preservers and highlights environmental challenges. It was recognized by the UN Global Compact in 2023.
Aiming to foster an inclusive culture and address a wide range of issues of interest to ECCON, our employees and our clients, we have implemented internal committees focused on various topics, including: Database Management Committee, Cost Reduction Committee, Environmental Impact Reduction Committee, Procedures Committee and Diversity Committee.
We created ECCON Magazine, dedicated to our internal communication and presenting updates on projects and committees, cultural tips, commemorative dates, and other relevant initiatives and topics.
