Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and corresponding Environmental Impact Report (RIMA)
The EIA consists of a detailed analysis of the environmental impacts of large undertakings or projects that may cause significant effects on the environment, human health and social well-being. It involves a comprehensive assessment of the environmental aspects of a project, such as land use, biodiversity, water resources, air quality, noise and socioeconomic impacts.
